Soundview Houses Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Room Upgrades​

Macan Deve was contracted by Ameresco to provide code compliance and renovations to the existing DHW rooms at the NYCHA Soundview Houses complex located in the Bronx NY.  Upon a code investigation Macan Deve determined that if the new gas service was below 15 psi that only one means of egress would be required. This solution provided significant cost savings for the client as a another means of egress would have required the installation of new areaways below grade at each of the thirteen buildings.
